Over ten years ago I started exploring the world of search engine advertising. While it’s a common trade nowadays, it took an army of geeks to run an efficient campaign at scale back in the day. During those first years my experience transitioned from search engine advertising into social advertising and email marketing, continously adding more digital touch points into the mix.
As an online marketing generalist I was trying to master as many different platform as possible, but in the process I got more intrigued by the data that fueled these platforms and the designs of their engines. Optimizing within a platform is great, but once you start to integrate different platforms and disciplines, a completely new world of possibilites arise
By diving more into the back-ends of these systems, I started to implement, connect and expand across different touch points and marketing platforms. Websites, apps, email, customer service, online advertising, CRM systems, datalakes, Marketing Automation, DMP’s & CDP’s, chatbots… you name it.
This journey is still ongoing and at the moment I would label myself as a Digital Architect: every day I aim to develop optimal strategies and designs for future-proof marketing technology landscapes.

After a journey through Digital Marketing & Analytics, CRM, Social Media, a lot of MarTech solutions and everything in between I dare to call myself an omni-channel marketing specialist with a passion for innovation, business and technology.
During my journey through different disciplines I have seen many trends and developments. Some were big and some had less impact. But the current events around cookieless feel different. Something very big is waiting for us and I would be lying if I said I am not very excited about this.
